I started the Three Windows project so I could capture the daily perspective of how we view our surroundings from inside looking out. All three photographs are taken in the same room or structure from three different directions: North, East, and West when possible. My goal is to capture the three photos in less than five minutes of each other to ensure that I capture each view in the same light or time of day. It’s fascinating to see all the things that I don’t notice when looking through the window live that I only notice later when I’m compositing the photos together.
